E-mail revolutionized the way mankind communicates. Where one had to send a letter via the postal service, and wait days or weeks for their letter to reach it's destination; the electronic mail may take only a few hours, minutes, even seconds. This makes communication parents, students, and faculty much easier for a teacher.

From online dictionaries, online articles, to access to legal standards, and supports; the various educational websites are also a great tool that any educator or student can benefit.

The internet is quite possible the biggest revolution in recent technology.

Many of the downsides of the internet, such as privacy issues, can be avoided with proper education concerning the internet.

The benefits of this great tool completely outweigh the downsides.
